Insights on the Cyber SUV Tease
The video also showcased miniature models of the Cyber SUV, hinting at Tesla’s exploration of this new vehicle category. Although it remains uncertain whether Tesla will officially launch this model, the company’s interest in electric SUVs is becoming increasingly apparent.

The Shifting Focus of Tesla’s Product Line
Just a few months ago, speculation surrounded Tesla’s development of a budget-friendly hatchback priced below $30, 000. However, the company shifted gears, introducing the iterative Model Y L in China instead.
Optimus: Revolutionizing Labor
In its recent Master Plan, Tesla has highlighted the significance of the Optimus humanoid robot. The company asserts that:
“Optimus—our autonomous humanoid robot—is changing not only the perception of labor itself but its availability and capability. Jobs and tasks that are particularly monotonous or dangerous can now be accomplished by other means. In this way, Optimus’s mission is to give people back more time to do what they love.”
Tesla plans to commercially launch the Optimus robot by early 2026.

Market Expectations for Optimus
Interestingly, Kalshi users are skeptical about the Optimus robot’s timely release, assigning it only a 40 percent chance of launching before 2027.
A Shift in Technological Strategy
Recent reports indicate that Tesla has shifted its strategy regarding its Dojo supercomputer, opting to rely more heavily on NVIDIA chips to enhance its Full Self-Driving (FSD) capabilities. The Optimus robot is expected to operate using the upcoming AI5 chips.
