New DLC Levels and Iconic Characters Join Astro Bot

The much-anticipated downloadable content (DLC) for Astro Bot has officially arrived, introducing a total of five new levels that expand the game’s already impressive repertoire to over 90 levels. What makes this update particularly exciting for PlayStation enthusiasts is the inclusion of two legendary characters, familiar to gamers worldwide, now available as collectible cameo bots.

Among the new additions are none other than Cloud Strife and Sephiroth from the iconic Final Fantasy franchise, now adorning the game as highly sought-after cameo bots within the freshly introduced levels.

Additionally, players can also look forward to collecting Atsu, the protagonist from Sucker Punch’s upcoming sequel, Ghost of Yotei. This new title is expected to be featured in a dedicated State of Play presentation scheduled for later today, enhancing the excitement around this release.

While the new content has players eagerly diving into the levels, unfortunate news for collectors comes regarding the previously mentioned limited-edition Astro Bot-themed DualSense controller. Despite the excitement, there has been no further information regarding its release, which remains slated for “later this year”without a specific date.
