Innovative Display Technologies by TCL CSOT for an Enhanced eSports Experience
At the forefront of display technology, TCL CSOT (China Star Optoelectronics Technology) showcased its latest offerings during the prominent ChinaJoy 2025 exhibition. Known for producing high-quality panels for leading brands like Samsung, Lenovo, Philips, AOC, ASUS, and MSI, TCL CSOT has asserted its dominance in the eSports monitor industry, claiming that it was the top producer of eSports MNT displays from 2022 to 2024, with one in three eSports monitors incorporating their technology.
The latest innovations from TCL CSOT include three distinct panel types: HVA Fast, HVA Black, and HFS Shoot. Each model aims to deliver unparalleled performance for competitive gaming. The HVA Fast is designed with a remarkable 1ms response time and is ideal for expansive displays, up to 57 inches in ultra-wide format with a striking 1000R curvature, enhancing immersion in Triple-A gaming titles.

The HVA Black panel, tailor-made for eSports gamers, boasts refresh rates that soar up to 500Hz and significantly enhanced contrast ratios of 5000:1. This results in deeper blacks and superior overall visual clarity. In contrast, the HFS Shoot panel offers a groundbreaking replacement for traditional IPS displays, featuring the “Three-Highs”advancement: high refresh rate, high image quality, and high-resolution support, making it an excellent choice for fast-paced shooter games. This panel also includes an innovative one-click switch between 2D and 3D modes, complete with Naked-Eye 3D technology that negates the requirement for 3D glasses.

Li Shanyong, a senior executive at TCL CSOT, emphasized the company’s vision and future plans for eSports gaming displays, stressing that modern gamers demand the advanced capabilities offered by their latest technologies. The new HVA and HFS panels promise deeper blacks, rapid response times, and forthcoming options like the Printed OLED panel, which will deliver features such as Low Blue Light, extended screen lifespan, increased pixel density, and real-time image modifications.

Currently, prominent brands like Samsung are integrating TCL CSOT’s advancements into their product lines, exemplified by the Dragon Knight Series, which features four distinct monitors offering both UHD and WUHD resolutions, display sizes of up to 40 inches, and refresh rates reaching 180Hz. Additionally, Lenovo has introduced a 1440p gaming monitor utilizing HVA technology, capable of reaching an impressive 300Hz in refresh rates. With these advancements, the market anticipates a swift expansion of TCL CSOT’s HVA and HFS panels among various leading brands.
