The latest release, The Talos Principle: Reawakened, revamps the original game along with its Road to Gehenna DLC using the state-of-the-art Unreal Engine 5
. This enhanced version, however, introduces an exciting new element: a fresh expansion titled In the Beginning.
This new expansion features 18 intricate puzzles, serving as a narrative prelude to the original storyline. Notably, 16 of these puzzles were collaboratively designed with input from dedicated community members who have been crafting their own levels for over a decade. This community involvement not only strengthens the game’s connection to its fans but also enriches the gameplay experience.
The puzzles in In the Beginning stand out in terms of difficulty; they are primarily tailored for seasoned players, designed by fellow enthusiasts who are passionate about the game. This unique background adds layers of depth and challenge, making these puzzles some of the most formidable in the entire Talos Principle series.
In the following guide, we will walk you through the steps needed to conquer the Parabolic Interference puzzle. If you are seeking a subtle hint without delving into the full solution, remember this: you will need to set up two laser webs instead of just one large configuration.
Comprehensive Guide to the Parabolic Interference Puzzle in The Talos Principle: Reawakened

- Upon entering the puzzle area, secure the hexahedron. This action activates the pressure switch, adjusting the gates accordingly. Position the hexahedron in front of the fan located on the right side of the area.

- Next, collect a connector (designated as C1) and link it with the blue and red laser generators as well as the corresponding blue and red nodes governing the shields that obstruct access to the tetromino. Carefully place this connector atop the hexahedron.

- Then, retrieve the second connector (C2) and attach it to the red and blue laser generators, as well as the blue and red nodes on either side of the puzzle area that will activate the fans. Ensure to connect it to the same blue and red nodes as C1. Position this connector atop the pressure switch.

- Approach the shields that are obstructing the path to the tetromino. You will observe the hexahedron and C1 moving rhythmically in the air as the nodes on either side of the puzzle area alternate between the red and blue lasers.

- The shields should now be oscillating, allowing you to traverse through and advance toward the tetromino to successfully complete the puzzle.
