“Taehyung’s Heartfelt Instagram Comment on 2022 Post with Yeontan Captivates ARMYs” — Fans React to His Love for Tan

On October 3, 2024, BTS member Kim Taehyung, known as V, created a buzz online after he commented on an old Instagram photo featuring him and his beloved pet dog, Yeontan. This nostalgic photo is from February 4, 2022, taken during a temple visit with Yeontan. He captioned the heartwarming image:

“Kim Yeontan made a wish, didn’t you? Your wish is my wish.”

The BTS fandom is well aware of Yeontan’s health challenges, as he has struggled with a heart condition since his puppy days. The talented singer-songwriter behind “Love Me Again”has consistently kept his fanbase informed about Yeontan’s health status. Therefore, his recent comment on the nostalgic picture has raised concerns among fans.

In his comment, Taehyung affectionately referred to his dog by his nickname, Tan, writing:

“I love you so much Tanah.”

While the artist has shared several pictures with Yeontan on his Instagram, the comment regarding the February 2022 post, during a time when Yeontan was particularly unwell, alarmed fans. One fan shared their feelings on X:

“I feel him and understand him with my whole heart. The way he loves Tan and misses him… I sometimes video call my parents and ask them to place the phone in front of my cats so that I can talk to them… Oh Taehyung! You will be with Tan soon.”

Fans flocked to X expressing their hopes that Yeontan is healthy and shared prayers for his well-being.

“Hope they’re both doing okay. Miss them so much,”a fan wrote on X.

“I hope Tan is doing well. He is missing him so much. Sobbing God keep my babies safe,”another fan added.

“Oh Taehyung. I think about how much Yeontan and Tae must be missing each other. I always say a prayer to keep Yeontan and all Bangtan furry babies & their families safe,”one other fan expressed.

Additional fans voiced their concerns regarding Yeontan’s health, longing for reassurance that he is well taken care of.

“I saw ‘We love you Yeontan’ and Tannie trending and I GOT A HEART ATTACK. Never again please. But we do love you ‘Tanah’ and your dad misses you so very much. I hope he sees you very soon. And please, stay healthy. Both of you,”one fan commented.

“He is probably missing Tannie a lot. Hopefully, they will be able to meet again soon and spend lots of time together, in the meantime I hope they both stay healthy and happy,”another fan said.

“I’m really hoping that Taehyung is just missing Yeontan and there’s nothing more to it. This is making me so worried!”a fan added.

Taehyung’s pet dog Yeontan’s long battle with a heart condition and cardiac arrests

Previously, in December 2021, as reported by India.com, BTS’s Taehyung disclosed that his pet dog had been suffering for an extensive period. Yeontan was born with a small respiratory tract, complicating his ability to breathe properly, often leading to fainting spells. He underwent two heart surgeries in 2021, both of which were unsuccessful.

In September 2023, Taehyung recounted this challenging experience during his PIXID interview, sharing that Yeontan not only had cardiac problems but also endured two failed operations. He expressed his gratitude for Yeontan’s strength:

“I have a pet Pomeranian named Kim Yeontan. He’s been with me for 7 years. Tan has a bad heart and had surgery twice. But both times it was unsuccessful. Every time it was unsuccessful, he could have died during the surgery. But his will kept him alive. I was so grateful that he fought for his life.”

Yeontan was also featured on the cover of Taehyung’s debut solo album, “Layover,”released in September 2023, and made an appearance in the music video for “Rainy Days,”another track from the album.

During his Inkigayo performance promoting “Layover,”Yeontan made a special guest appearance on stage, casually walking around to cheers from fans.
