Your AO Excavator serves as one of your most critical assets, allowing you to extract AO Crystals—among the game’s most sought-after resources. Although not every expedition necessitates the retrieval of AO Crystals, many will. Thus, preparing your excavator to mine all available crystals is crucial for maximizing your in-game earnings. Be aware that some crystal deposits might be out of reach for lower-tier Excavators, but you can remedy this through crafting upgrades.
Upgrading the AO Excavator: A Step-by-Step Guide
Within the main Sortie Prep menu, you’ll find your AO Excavator listed as an equippable item, similar to your weapons. Upgrades are achieved through a leveling system, where you can increment the Excavator’s effectiveness. Initially, you’ll want to complete various in-game requests before advancing to higher upgrade levels. This upgrade process can be accomplished in the Crafting sub-menu, once you have successfully unlocked the required blueprints.
To initiate an upgrade, you’ll need to have either an additional Excavator or to unequip your primary one so that it becomes available in your inventory. Remember that the basic Excavator is complimentary, just like the Jack Cradle items, which alleviates the pressure of having to save resources for a new model.
Locating the Necessary Materials for Upgrades
