Survivor Season 47: Fans Furious Over Aysha’s Elimination

The latest episode of Survivor 47 premiered on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. As the competitive survival series wrapped up its in-game week, it bid farewell to another contestant. Following TK Foster’s elimination the previous week, episode 3, titled Belly of the Beast, saw Aysha Welch sent packing.

Tensions soared at the Lavo tribe as the castaways struggled to function as a unified team. Rome expressed suspicion over the secret alliances among his teammates, feeling particularly threatened by Aysha and Sol’s gameplay, which he claimed was “running the show”at Lavo. Consequently, he locked in on Aysha as his main target, despite acknowledging her contributions as a team player.

After losing the immunity challenge, the Lavo tribe members headed to tribal council, where Rome solidified his alliance with Teeny, Genevieve, and Kishan, rallying them against Aysha. His strategy proved successful, and Aysha was eliminated after receiving three votes against her. Although Teeny attempted to save Aysha by casting her vote against Sol, it ultimately wasn’t enough.

Fans of Survivor 47 were disheartened by Aysha’s departure and took to X to criticize the gameplay of Team Lavo.

“I’ve never been more pissed than to see Aysha go home. Rome needs to go soon! They will end up regretting this decision,”a fan expressed.

Many viewers expressed disappointment over Aysha’s unjust elimination.

Simultaneously, many Survivor 47 fans criticized Rome and the other Lavo members who plotted against Aysha.

Survivor 47 Star Aysha Wanted to Save Sol Unaware She Was Rome’s Target

During this episode, a contestant from each tribe faced a challenge that could yield either an advantage or a disadvantage. Rome was selected as the representative from Team Lavo, while Kyle was chosen from Tuku, and Anika volunteered from Gata. They were taken to a secluded island where they were presented with three bags.

One bag contained an advantage, while the others held the “Lose Your Vote”punishment. Kyle and Anika stopped after drawing the disadvantage first. However, Survivor 47 contestant Rome managed to secure the advantage on his first try, gaining a Steal a Vote that allowed him to inhibit another castaway’s vote, effectively granting him a second vote.

Upon returning to his tribe, Rome deceived his teammates by claiming he had drawn the disadvantage. He confided in Teeny about the truth, which led them to explore an alliance with him, Kishan, and Genevieve, especially since Rome also held the tribe’s idol.

Shortly after, the tribes participated in the immunity challenge, with Gata finishing first, followed by Tuku in second. Meanwhile, Lavo struggled and faced their first tribal council. During a conversation with Aysha, Teeny attempted to warn her about Rome’s intentions, offering support to help her avoid elimination. Teeny subtly urged the Survivor 47 cast member to focus on Sol, who was also a target for Rome.

Meanwhile, Rome forged an alliance with Sol, convincing him to vote against Aysha. He reassured Sol about their intentions to keep him around, promoting him as a key asset to their tribe. However, Sol wrestled with his trust in Rome. Conversely, Kishan and Teeny informed Aysha that Rome was likely to use his idol for himself or Genevieve, urging her to protect herself by targeting Sol.

Aysha rejected their proposal and decided to set her sights on voting out Genevieve instead. Kishan and Teeny exhausted their efforts to persuade her. When the time came for voting, it was revealed by host Jeff Probst that Aysha received three votes, resulting in her elimination. She shared her disappointment with the outcome as she departed.
