Survivor Season 47 Episode 6 Elimination: Who Was Voted Off?

Survivor Season 47 Episode 6 Elimination: Who Was Voted Off?

The highly anticipated episode 6 of Survivor season 47 premiered on October 24 on CBS, marking the significant moment of the merge week. During this episode, all three tribes united on a single beach, allowing contestants to be part of the newly formed merged tribe. Additionally, the opportunity to compete for individual immunity heightened the stakes as it led to the season’s most critical tribal council yet.

Unfortunately for Rome Cooney, the merge did not play in his favor, resulting in his elimination at the conclusion of episode 6 of Survivor 47. His downfall was triggered by his fellow competitors uncovering his habit of spreading contradictory gossip amongst them. Shocked by the decision to eliminate him, he exited the game on a gracious note, stating:

“It’s all love.”

How Rome Cooney Met His Fate in Episode 6 of Survivor 47

The opening scenes of episode 6 of Survivor season 47 depicted a boat arrival, signaling a pivotal challenge for the players as they competed for their place in the merge.

Prior to engaging in the challenge, contestants were tasked with discovering a hidden advantage in the jungle. Genevieve successfully located this advantage, although its full implications were revealed at a later time.

Anticipating the tribal council merger, Rome aimed to create chaos among contestants. He initiated his strategy by whispering differing stories, asserting that Kyle considered Tiyana a threat and insinuating negative remarks about both Sue and Caroline. Sol, wary of his behavior, began to investigate the truths behind Rome’s claims, deciding to focus on eliminating him.

The merge challenge comprised two segments: first, players were split into two teams, with the victors rewarded with a merge feast, and secondly, they battled for individual immunity at the tribal council.

Tragically for Rome, he faced consecutive defeats in the challenges, significantly increasing the likelihood of his elimination at the tribal council. Although he attempted to unsettle Sol, the consensus during the merge feast was that Rome’s erratic approach to gameplay posed too great a risk, making him the primary target.

Displaying overconfidence before the tribal council of Survivor season 47 episode 6, Rome openly opposed Sol. However, he remained unaware that most of the contestants were united in their intention to vote him out.

As cast members prepared to vote, many came equipped with cutting remarks aimed at Rome. Sam quipped:

“They say Rome wasn’t built in a day, but your game sure was destroyed in one.”

Teeny remarked:

“Everybody has finally caught up to the way that I feel about you.”

The holders of the amulets allied to shield Teeny, effectively redirecting the target away from her. Among the 12 votes cast, only two were directed towards Andy, while the majority fell on Rome.
