Survivor Fans Slam Rome for Stalking Sol to Prevent Idol Discovery

As Survivor Season 47 progresses, episode 4 aired on October 9, titled “Is That Blood in Your Hair,”following Sue’s encounter with artificial blood. In this episode, the Lavo team faced another elimination, with Kishan being voted out after his teammate Ayesha had already been sent packing the previous week.

With the threat of more eliminations looming over team Lavo, Sol, Rome, Genevieve, and Kishan scrambled to formulate strategies for their survival, each feeling pressure and fear of a potential blindside. Rome initially proposed that the team should vote for Sol before ultimately changing their votes to target Kishan instead.

Rome shadowed Sol in an effort to prevent him from discovering an immunity idol, persistently keeping an eye on him, even venturing into the jungle together. Fans of Survivor took to X to voice their frustration with Rome’s actions. Some defended his approach, while others asserted that his behavior was out of line with the spirit of the game.

“It’s unbelievable that someone would have the nerve to stop me from searching for an idol. Rome is unbearable. Sol deserves better,”one viewer expressed.

“Rome’s arrogance is off the charts—so they can gather an idol, but Sol can’t? Just doesn’t add up,”commented another fan.

“I WANT THAT RUDE ROMEO OUT OF MY LIFE; GO FIND THAT IDOL, KING SOL!”a third user added.

“I completely take back all the nice things I said about Rome. He’s acting so strange. You have an extra vote…you’re literally safe. Who cares about an idol?”another fan chimed in.

Some viewers humorously conveyed their support for Sol, suggesting that he should confront Rome.

“If I were Sol, and I clocked Rome in the face, Jeff better not question my actions,”wrote one X user.

“I truly respect Sol for his restraint regarding Roma. It’s a game, but I honestly don’t know how I’d keep my cool around him,”another added.

“Rome is acting like Sol’s personal stalker, clueless that he’s sabotaging his own game, as everyone sees that Sol is the true king,”a comment stated.

In this week’s Survivor, team Gata emerged victorious, securing a win. Meanwhile, Sue from team Tuku uncovered the Beware Advantage but not without getting covered in blood-like paint, making it challenging to conceal her success from teammates.

Genevieve joined the Lavo team and shared her disapproval of Rome’s constant following of Sol during a conversation with him. In addition to his already questionable strategy, Rome threatened Sol by claiming he would use his powers to take his vote and eliminate him.

Rome’s actions also played a crucial role in Kishan’s exit from the game. He told Genevieve that Kishan had mentioned her as a decoy, leading her to warn Rome that Kishan posed a significant threat by having also taken his name. This shifted the focus onto Kishan, and ultimately, Rome utilized his steal-a-vote ability against him, resulting in a unanimous decision to vote Kishan out.
