“Survivor” Fans React to Rachel’s Rice Theft During Immunity Challenge

Survivor Season 47 aired a new episode this week on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. In this exciting segment, the tribes engaged in another thrilling immunity and reward challenge.

Tribe Gata emerged victorious, securing both immunity and fishing equipment. Tribe Lavo claimed the second position, also winning immunity along with a smaller reward, while Tribe Taku, finishing third, faced the risk of losing a tribe member.

Among the intensity of the immunity challenge, one cast member caught Jeff Probst’s attention at the end. Rachel LaMont from Tribe Gata was spotted attempting to steal rice and was subsequently instructed to empty her pockets.

Survivor Season 47 Episode 2 — Rachel Attempts to Steal Rice, Gets Caught by Jeff Probst

In Survivor Season 47 Episode 2, titled “Epic Boss Girl Move”, the three tribes faced off in yet another immunity challenge. This task required contestants to jump into the ocean and race towards a tower.

Participants had to retrieve bags of rice through a small hole and return to shore, while another player behind a cage maneuvered a key through a maze. After obtaining the key, they had to break open the rice bags to uncover a ball and navigate it through a snake trap.

As the Season 47 castaways engaged in the challenge, Rachel from Tribe Gata was seen stuffing her pockets with rice. Once the challenge concluded, Jeff congratulated Tribes Gata and Lavo on their immunity wins.

“Guys, before I send you out, I have a question for Rachel. Did I see you putting some rice in your pocket?”Jeff asked.

Rachel laughed, claiming he had seen nothing. He remarked on it being “unbelievable”and requested her to empty her pockets.

“Hey, when I was standing at that bag of rice, I thought maybe we can take some home with us,”Rachel explained.

Though Jeff commended her creativity, he insisted she empty her pockets. Fans took to social media to commend Rachel for her innovative strategy.
