Surface Book 3 Firmware Update: New Network Drivers and Enhanced Security Improvements
The third-generation Surface Book is the only model that supports Windows 11 and represents the last iteration of its unique design. Recently, it received a significant firmware update that includes a new Surface UEFI update along with updated Intel Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers.

To update your Surface Book 3 with the latest firmware, navigate to Settings > Windows Update and click “Check for updates.”You can also manually download the installation package from the official Surface Support website. This package includes all previous releases, similar to cumulative updates for Windows.
The Surface Book 3 is currently in its final year of support. As per official documentation, Microsoft plans to stop releasing firmware updates for the Surface Book 3 on April 1, 2025. However, the device will continue to receive operating system updates and new features.
