On October 8, 2024, a clip featuring the well-known YouTuber and Twitch streamer Tina Kitten expressing her support for NewJeans amidst a heated controversy began trending across social media, garnering enthusiastic responses from fans online. She criticized the treatment of the group by HYBE, stating:

In case you’re unaware, a dispute has arisen between HYBE and Min Hee-jin following HYBE’s announcement of an audit concerning ADOR, which led to Min Hee-jin’s forced resignation as CEO. Min Hee-jin subsequently accused HYBE of plagiarism and violating the creative rights of NewJeans. As a result, she was terminated from her CEO role at ADOR in August.

Following this, the girl group took to guerrilla live-streaming on a now-deleted YouTube channel without ADOR’s permission. They called for the reinstatement of Min Hee-jin as their CEO and alleged mistreatment by HYBE.
