SUPERVIVE Launches Version 1.0 on Steam with Major Overhaul
The newly released SUPERVIVE, a free-to-play MOBA developed by Theorycraft Games in collaboration with NetEase Games, marks its official launch with a comprehensive 1.0 update on Steam. According to a recent blog post by Theorycraft, the update represents a significant transformation of the game, with the developers stating that “almost everything has changed.”
Introducing the Armory: A New Dimension to Gameplay
One of the standout features introduced in this update is the Armory, a groundbreaking progression system that enables players to collect various gear. This new feature is designed to significantly alter gameplay styles and foster diverse build options. Moreover, the game world, known as The Breach, has been expanded, offering players improved mobility through enhanced gliders and the introduction of a new vehicle, the Skyshark, which provides versatile aerial navigation.
As explained by Theorycraft Games, the intention behind the Armory is to deliver accessible and meaningful choices for players, alongside an engaging meta-progression framework. The developers outline a four-step process for utilizing the Armory:
- Collect Armory items.
- Purchase items using the in-game currency, Coin.
- Excel in matches to earn another currency called Prisma.
- Use Prisma to unlock additional items within the Armory.

Players will find over 100 items to collect and utilize for crafting unique builds, ensuring there is always something new to pursue, especially since the Armory will undergo a reset at the conclusion of each season.
New Character Addition: Meet Wukong
Another notable enhancement with the 1.0 update is the arrival of a new playable character, Wukong. His unique passive ability allows him to blend into trees, providing the perfect opportunity to recharge his glider before re-engaging in battles.
A Promising Future Ahead
Having launched into Open Beta last November, SUPERVIVE has already gained significant traction with thousands of positive reviews on Steam. With the official release of the 1.0 update, fans hope that Theorycraft Games can maintain the game’s momentum and avoid the fate of many free-to-play titles that fade into obscurity within a year.
