Super Flower Launches Leadex 2800W Titanium Power Supply Capable of Supporting Four GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs for $793

The Super Flower Leadex 2800W power supply unit (PSU) stands out in the market, featuring up to four 16-pin connectors designed for high-performance graphics cards and boasting an impressive capacity of 2800W.

Super Flower Unveils the World’s First 2800W PSU at $793, Equipped with 4x 12V-2×6 Connectors and 80 Plus Titanium Certification

Super Flower, a renowned Taiwanese manufacturer specializing in power supply units, recently presented its cutting-edge Leadex 2800W at Computex. This flagship PSU distinguishes itself as the only model globally to achieve a staggering 2800W capacity, edging closer to the 3000W threshold. Given that most premium power supplies cap at around 1600W, this significant leap of nearly 800W is particularly noteworthy.

Currently, the only comparable offering in the 2000W+ range is SilverStone’s Hela 2050R Platinum, which provides 2050 watts and aligns with ATX 3.1 and PCI-E 5.1 specifications. On the other hand, the Leadex 2800W comes fully compliant with these standards, ensuring optimal compatibility with the latest GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards.

Uniquely, the Leadex 2800W is the sole PSU on the market featuring four 16-pin (12V-2×6) connectors. This capability allows it to theoretically support four GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs while efficiently managing the power requirements of the entire system. Although the traditional quad GPU setups of the past are less common now, this power supply remains adept at powering multi-GPU workstations—an essential feature for demanding AI applications.

Previous iterations of Super Flower’s power supplies included the Leadex Platinum 2000W, which was based on the SF form factor. The new Leadex 2800W, however, is a fully-fledged ATX unit boasting impressive features such as Cybenetics Titanium Certification, a Resonant Circuit design, and high-quality Japanese capacitors. It also includes a fully modular design and a powerful 140mm fan capable of reaching up to 3000 RPM to ensure effective heat management.

To safeguard your high-end hardware investment, the Leadex 2800W integrates multiple protective features, including Over Current Protection (OCP), Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), Over Power Protection (OPP), Under Voltage Protection (UVP), Over Temperature Protection (OTP), Non-load Operation (NLO), and Standby Inrush Protection (SIP).Super Flower has introduced the Leadex 2800W at a retail price of 5, 699 Yuan, approximately $793. While this cost may appear steep, it aligns with the pricing of many premium 1600W PSUs, which often exceed $500.
