Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard season 2 – Bria consoles Shanice

On Sunday, March 31, 2024, Bravo aired a new episode of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard season 2. During Groovy Decades Night, the cast carried on with their usual antics, but one member’s joke seemed to go too far and caused offense to another castmate.

Summer wasted no time in naming Shanice as the worst dresser of season 2 when asked. However, newcomer Noelle expressed her disapproval, labeling Summer’s comment as “shady”due to her friendship with Shanice. Shanice was also displeased with the remark and went as far as accusing Summer of wearing counterfeit clothing before storming off to her room.

Bria followed the cast member to the bathroom to check on her, where she discovered her crying. Shortly after, Noelle also joined the conversation.

Shanice faces unexpected challenges in Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard season 2

In the second episode of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard season 2, Summer’s remark about Shanice’s fashion sense brought her to tears. Shanice responded by asserting that she was the most authentic member of the cast, and that the others were supposedly wearing inauthentic clothing.

In tears, Shanice ran up to her room and Bria quickly followed. As they passed by, some of the cast members expressed sympathy for Shanice. Bria asked Shanice if she was crying, and she confirmed, questioning aloud the source of such hurtful words.

Shanice inquired about the source of the comment and Bria confirmed that it was indeed made by Summer, a member of the cast of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard. Shanice proceeded to call the cast member “stupid”as Bria comforted her. During the conversation, Shanice disclosed that she was currently facing financial difficulties.

“I don’t have any money. I don’t have a job.”

Despite Bria’s comforting words from behind the closed door, the Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard reality star also admitted to having no funds to purchase new clothing.

In her confessional later, Shanice revealed that Summer’s comment had deeply affected her because her company had transferred her from Phoenix to Tampa before ultimately letting her go. She further explained that because the trip to Martha’s Vineyard had already been planned, she didn’t want to cancel it.

Shanice mentioned that Summer was aware of her job loss. This caused even more pain for the cast member when it was brought up. In an effort to comfort Shanice, Bria pointed out that Summer also didn’t have a good sense of style.

The remaining cast members of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard were curious about Bria’s whereabouts. Jasmine then revealed that she had gone to check on Shanice. While some of the cast members didn’t view it as a serious matter, Noelle felt compelled to also check on Bria.

Noelle expressed to the cameras that while she considered Summer a friend, her remark towards Shanice did not sit right with her. She emphasized that she would never say something like that to someone she considers a friend.

After the chaos settled in the episode, the cast carried on with their enjoyable activities. While they were dancing, Amir chose not to join in, allegedly out of consideration for his girlfriend. Instead, he called her and talked about the discrepancy between his actions and those of Nick, who was also in a committed relationship.

The second season of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard will resume next week with a new episode airing on Bravo.
