Nintendo has unveiled its 2024 digital download rankings for the Nintendo Switch in Japan. For the second consecutive year, Aladdin X’s Suika Game has firmly established itself at the top of the list, continuing its impressive streak as the most popular digital title.
Shifts in Popularity Among Notable Titles
Interestingly, among the top five games of 2023, only Super Mario Bros. Wonder remains relevant, albeit significantly lower at the 16th position in the current rankings. This year marks a surprising absence of any first-party Nintendo games from the top five—a notable shift in the competitive digital landscape. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Super Mario Party Jamboree managed to secure the seventh and eighth spots, respectively, indicating a potential decline in their once-dominant appeal.
