Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – How to Unlock The Joker Without Paying Money
The recently released episode 1 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, titled “Fear”, features new playable content including an updated version of the Joker. However, players should not expect to immediately access the Clown Prince of Crime as he must be unlocked either through gameplay progress or by purchasing premium currency. Assuming you prefer not to spend actual money, continue reading for the method to unlock Joker within the game.
Increase Your Fear Factor
In Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Episode 1, players are introduced to a new ranking system called “Fear Rank.”To unlock the Joker, one must reach level 35. While this may require some grinding, players can expedite their progress by completing specific missions.
When looking for missions, prioritize those with a +2 or +1 beside them as they will yield a higher amount of Fear Rank XP. Once you have completed all the +2 and +1 missions, you can try out some of the new Episode 1 Incursion missions. Many of these, such as “Knock ‘em Dead”or “Imposter Syndrome”, only require you to defeat a specific number of enemies, which can be done quickly if you have a strong character. The grinding process involves playing through approximately 30 missions, each taking 5 minutes or less, so you can finish it in just 2 to 3 hours.
Rematch with Brainiac
After reaching Fear Rank 35, you will have the opportunity to participate in the “Rescue the Joker?”Mayhem mission, where you will face a different version of Brainiac. This encounter is similar to the first one, as it is also a modified version of the Green Lantern fight.
Where is the Joker hiding?
Although defeating Brainiac, Joker will not automatically become available. To change your party composition, you must return to the Hall of Justice and speak with Rick Flag.
Now, there you have it, the joke is on you! If you desire immediate gratification, you can unlock him instantly by spending 1,000 Luthor Coins, which is approximately equivalent to $10. However, considering that unlocking Joker is the main reward for playing this season, it seems unnecessary to do so.
The game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is compatible with PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
