Submission grappling ace Kade Ruotolo believes “aggressive” Francisco Lo will force him to unleash his “inner beast”
Kade Ruotolo is anticipating a fierce battle as he enters the prestigious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium for his upcoming challenge on the international platform of ONE Championship.
The ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion will compete against promotional newcomer Francisco Lo in a 180-pound catchweight bout at ONE Fight Night 21, which will be broadcast live during U.S. primetime on Friday, April 5.
During an interview with CountFilms TV before his sixth fight with ONE, the 21-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu prodigy discussed why he anticipates his upcoming match against the Brazilian grappling champion to be one of the most challenging battles of his career.
According to Kade Ruotolo, he stated:
“Yeah, 100 percent. I was telling Mitch earlier that I’m excited to fight someone who is going to come to fight me. I know he’s very aggressive and anytime that someone is that aggressive, it makes me mad. And sometimes, I fight, I win. I don’t get to pull out that inner beast. But I know Izaak’s going to pull that out for me.”

It may be intimidating for anyone facing off against the divisional king. However, if Ruotolo’s confidence is an indication of his potential, Lo and the rest of the observers might be taken aback this Friday.
Kade’s impressive success against the top grapplers in the world continues, and he is determined to continue that trend at ONE Fight Night 21.
