Capcom recently unveiled an exciting collaboration between Street Fighter 6 and Monster Hunter Wilds, set to launch on May 28, 2025. This update will introduce both complimentary and purchasable items inspired by the iconic fighting game franchise, offering players enhanced customization options for their characters and companions. Key highlights include a Chun-Li costume for Alma, Akuma-themed layered armor, and the opportunity to transform Palicos into Blanka-chan with new layered armor sets. A new trailer recently showcased these features in action.

Returning Content: Akuma’s Layered Armor

Notably, this marks the second appearance of Akuma’s layered armor within the Monster Hunter series, having previously been featured in Monster Hunter Rise as a reward from an Event Quest in August 2021. This latest rendition of the armor comes with unique animations, enhancing the gameplay experience.

Details on Paid DLC Items

For players interested in additional enhancements, the paid DLC will present several alluring items. Alma will gain access to both Chun-Li and Cammy costumes, while stickers featuring beloved characters such as Ryu, Akuma, Juri, Cammy, and Blanka-chan will be available. Furthermore, players can perform gestures reminiscent of signature moves like the Hadoken, Shoryuken, and Tatsumaki Senpu-Kyaku, adding a dynamic layer to combat. Additionally, a unique Blanka-chan Doll pendant will be offered for gear enhancement. Pricing details for these items have yet to be released, but the trailer indicated that they would be sold individually rather than in bundles.
