The Cyclone Swarm is one of the five new Outlier Tacet Discord enemies introduced in version 1.3 of Wuthering Waves. These foes are unique variants of the standard Tacet Discords encountered while exploring the vast overworld of Wuthering Waves. The Cyclone Swarm, classified as a level 120 enemy, can be found in the Black Shores region.

Although small in size, these enemies showcase remarkable combat abilities at long range and possess distinctive special abilities that significantly enhance their performance during battles.

Enemy Overview

The Cyclone Swarm is essentially an advanced variant of the Cruisewing Tacet Discords found in the Wuthering Waves overworld. It consists of three Cruisewing enemies that boast significantly higher HP and employ special abilities in combat.

In battle, the primary attack of the Cyclone Swarm involves shooting projectiles at opponents. These projectiles move slowly, making them relatively easy to dodge. When not under attack, the Cyclone Swarm will ascend higher and begin to heal itself and its allies, restoring a substantial portion of their HP.

The key to overcoming these enemies lies in consistently attacking them to prevent healing. Be cautious of their projectiles, as they can deal considerable damage.

Team Recommendations

Similar to the Cruisewing, the Cyclone Swarm exhibits increased resistance to the Spectro element. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid using a Spectro damage-dealing character like Jinhsi or the Spectro-Rover in this encounter. Here are some suggested team compositions:

• Shorekeeper, Yinlin, Changli.
• Verina, Mortefi, Jiyan.
• Shorekeeper, Yinlin, Xiangli Yao.
• Shorekeeper, Changli, Encore.

If you do not have access to Shorekeeper and Verina, options like Baizhi or Jianxin can serve as good support units. Any non-Spectro damage-dealing unit, particularly main DPS characters such as Calcharo, Jiyan, Changli, and Encore, will perform well against this enemy.

• Make sure your team is well-equipped with the best gear. A balanced team featuring solid support and a sub-DPS role to assist your main damage dealer will enhance your chances of success.
• At close range, avoiding the enemy’s projectiles can be difficult. Opting for a main DPS like Changli or Jiyan, who are agile and can navigate the battlefield effectively, can facilitate dodging.
• Continuously attacking the enemy prevents healing, causing it to fall and become immobile, which can be exploited during the fight.
• If you’re struggling, consider utilizing food buffs to increase your DEF and boost your damage output.

Defeating the Cyclone Swarm will grant you the trophy ‘The Perfect Storm’ and unlock three nearby treasure chests: Standard, Advanced, and Premium Supply Chests.
