“Strategic Decision: Internet Reacts to Lul Tim’s Upcoming Documentary with Quando Rondo, 6ix9ine, and More Despite Durk’s Incarceration”

On October 28, 2024, Lul Tim unveiled the trailer for his highly anticipated documentary series titled The Book of Timothy. This multi-part exploration is set to delve into “new insights”surrounding the 2020 murder of King Von, for which Tim was initially arrested as the main suspect. However, the charges against him were subsequently dropped after the prosecution conceded that Tim had acted in self-defense.

The inaugural episode of the documentary, which can be streamed on bookoftimdoc.com, includes appearances from Tim’s associate Quando Rondo, who was also involved in the altercation that led to Von’s death. Notable figures 6ix9ine and Charleston White are additionally expected to feature in this docu-series.

Lul Tim shared the trailer on his Instagram, accompanied by the following caption:

“After nearly 5 years of silence, I unveil the untold truth in The Book of Timothy. Narrated by Shawn Cotton of SayCheeseTV, featuring appearances from Quando Rondo, Charleston White, and others. The premiere episode, ‘A Mother’s Prayer,’ is now streaming at bookoftimdoc.com.”

Responses to the trailer have been mixed across social media platforms. Some users expressed suspicion about the documentary’s timing, noting that it coincided with Lil Durk’s recent arrest.

“Smart move, Durk can’t touch you while he’s locked up.”

Several commenters echoed this notion, suggesting that Lul Tim and Quando Rondo had postponed the documentary purposely until now.

“You can’t convince me they weren’t aware of Durk and OTF going to jail. The timing here and Rondo’s new song and video is too coincidental.”

“They waited until Durk was jailed to start talking after 4 years. These two have been hiding.”

“After 5 years of silence, now you choose to talk when Durk is in jail? That’s tough, gang.”

Conversely, others countered this perspective, indicating that the group had remained low-profile, biding their time until Lul Tim’s legal issues were resolved.

“They didn’t wait for Durk’s arrest; they held off until Tim’s case was dismissed, but whatever helps you feel better.”

“I find it amusing how everyone claims Quando and Tim are scared. Yet, every time Lul Tim drops music, he goes after OTF/300 and disses Von. Both he and Quando have displayed courage, just exercised caution due to Tim’s pending case.”

“They’re simply getting backlash for being honest; they’re not wrong.”

Lul Tim Exonerated from Murder Charges in 2023

In November 2020, the tragic death of Chicago rapper King Von stemmed from a shootout involving his group and one linked to Quando Rondo in Atlanta. Tim was indicted for Von’s murder but secured release on a $100,000 bail in 2021.

By August 2023, Lul Tim’s attorney, Noah Pines, conveyed to XXL Magazine that all charges against Tim were dismissed:

“The prosecution officially dropped the case against Mr. Leeks before any indictment could occur.”

The announcement of Lul Tim’s documentary coincided closely with Lil Durk’s arrest in Florida for alleged involvement in a shooting associated with Quando Rondo.

Law enforcement claims Durk was the mastermind behind a 2022 shootout intended as retaliation for Von’s death. This incident in Los Angeles spared Rondo but resulted in the death of his cousin, Lul Pab.

In addition to Durk, five of his associates from Only The Family were taken into custody regarding the 2022 incident. Durk is now facing “murder-for-hire”charges and remains held at Broward County Jail without bail.
