Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 Pre-Download Guide for All Platforms

Beginning September 23, 2024, HoYoverse has launched the preload feature for the Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 update across PC, Android, and iOS devices. Follow these steps to download the necessary files for each platform ahead of the global launch.

ZZZ 1.2 Pre-Download for PC

• Open the HoYoPlay launcher on your PC to start the ZZZ 1.2 patch download.
• If you have multiple HoYoverse games installed, choose Zenless Zone Zero from the list.
• Click on the Pre-Install icon next to the Start button; this action will display a pop-up with the Resource Package Size and total storage requirements.
• In this window, select Download to initiate the process.

The preload size for the Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 update is approximately 13 GB on PC, though this may increase if you install additional voice packs for various languages. Players can still enjoy the game while the download is in progress.

ZZZ 1.2 Pre-Download for Mobile

• Open the ZZZ game on your mobile device.
• Navigate to the login page and locate the “Pre-Download Resources”button in the bottom-right corner, then click it.
• Press Confirm in the pop-up window to begin downloading the resource files.

This process is identical for both Android and iOS devices. The total pre-download size for version 1.2 is approximately 8 GB on mobile. However, unlike on PC, you cannot play the game while the resource package is being downloaded.
