Locating the Chapel Puzzle

Finding the chapel puzzle in Cronos: The New Dawn is quite straightforward. Shortly after entering the Hospital, you will come across a save terminal situated in a side room off one of the primary hallways. Connected to this area is the chapel, featuring an altar that you can interact with.

Steps to Solve the Chapel Puzzle

Upon interacting with the altar, it will become clear that you need to place specific items to solve the puzzle. The two required items are the Chalice and the Vasculum, both of which can be found within the Hospital premises.

Finding the Chalice

The Chalice, essential for solving the chapel puzzle, is located in a locked room within the Director’s area. As you explore the Hospital’s wings to collect samples needed for synthesizing the Biomass Dissolving Toxin, you’ll discover this locked room. To access it, input the passcode 9509.

If you prefer to uncover the code yourself, it can be found in another locked chamber situated in a large hall filled with Biomass towards the end of the same wing. From the entrance, proceed to the left, go straight until you can duck under some Biomass and then turn left. Shoot the gas can to unlock the door, where the code is documented inside.

Locating the Vessel

The Vasculum needed for the chapel puzzle is found at the end of a dimly lit corridor within the Operation Block. You’ll recognize the correct path when you encounter multiple Orphans; be prepared for an intense battle. If you possess methods for burning Biomass, consider entering one of the adjacent rooms for additional resources, which will provide some assistance in the fight.

Rewards for Completing the Chapel Puzzle

Once you have acquired both the Chalice and the Vasculum, return to the altar and place these items on it. This action will reward you with the Chapel Backroom key, granting access to the locked door behind the altar. Inside, you’ll discover the powerful Mace JER-5120 shotgun, a modified version of the Hammer that offers a formidable double shot instead of charging.
