Many web browsers incorporate promotional messages aimed at users intermittently or consistently. These promotions can be utilized for various purposes, such as advertising new products or services or occasionally offering useful tips and recommendations for enhancing user experience.
Typically, these promotional features are activated by default, requiring proactive steps from users to disable them. While some users may appreciate these notifications as a means of staying informed, others might prefer a more streamlined, distraction-free browsing experience.
For instance, Google employs promotional strategies within its Chrome browser on Windows. Users may have noticed the “What’s New” page, which showcases recent features or enhancements of Chrome. Additionally, this page can also serve promotional purposes, encouraging users to sign in to their Google accounts or explore new functionalities.

At present, Google has not provided a straightforward option within the browser settings to disable promotional content entirely. However, there is a way to manage this through a policy setting.
The good news is that reverting the changes is straightforward and can be done at any time.
