Stellar Blade PC 1.20 Patch Introduces Hard Mode from Start, Enhances VRAM Usage Display, and More Improvements

New Patch Enhances Stellar Blade Experience on PC

Today marks the release of a significant new patch for the PC version of Stellar Blade, aimed at enriching the gaming experience with fresh content and essential improvements. Titled 1.20, this patch requires approximately 4.9 GB of space, and it brings several exciting updates to the game.

New Features and Gameplay Enhancements

One of the standout features of this patch is the introduction of seven new arranged tracks, creatively derived from the game’s existing soundtrack. This addition is a heartfelt gesture from the developers to express gratitude toward the dedicated fanbase that has supported the game’s journey.

Another crucial enhancement is the unlocking of Hard Mode from the outset. This adjustment addresses player feedback, as many found the standard difficulty to lack adequate challenge. With Hard Mode available from the beginning, players can enjoy a more engaging and rewarding gameplay experience.

Comprehensive Bug Fixes and Improvements

Alongside the new features, patch 1.20 also resolves multiple bugs that have affected gameplay. Notable fixes include:

  • Correction for the “Where is the Fantastic Bait”quest issue.
  • Resolution of a bug in the NIKKE minigame that caused EVE’s gun to disappear.
  • Overall improvements to graphics options, with an updated Expected VRAM display that now shows both current and maximum expected usage.

A Look Back at the Game’s Journey

Since its initial launch on the PlayStation 5 last year, Stellar Blade only recently made its drop onto PC, achieving remarkable success by selling over 1 million units in just three days. As of now, there is no official word from developers Shift Up regarding potential releases on other platforms. However, speculation surrounds a prospective Nintendo Switch 2 port, as the developer has begun exploring that possibility.

Availability

Stellar Blade is currently available for purchase on both PC and PlayStation 5 worldwide, allowing players to immerse themselves in this thrilling action-packed adventure.
