Stardew Valley Fishing Guide: Tips for Catching Crimsonfish

In the beloved game Stardew Valley, players encounter five elusive Legendary Fish, each presenting a unique challenge. Among them is the Crimsonfish, recognizable by its vibrant red hue. This fish is not only treasured for its appearance but also for its rarity, as it can only be caught once per save file. This guide will explore essential tips on how to catch the Crimsonfish and its various applications within the game.

When and Where To Catch Crimsonfish in Stardew Valley

To successfully catch the Crimsonfish, you must venture to the ocean during the Summer season. The time of day or weather conditions do not affect its catchability, however, it is crucial that your fishing skill level is at least Fishing Level 5. If you’re still honing your fishing skills, consuming food that enhances your Fishing ability can help you level up rapidly.

Navigate to the easternmost part of the beach, positioned south of Pelican Town. Prior to fishing here, ensure that you have repaired the nearby bridge with 300 pieces of wood. Once that’s done, cast your line into the ocean at least four tiles away from any land, including the pier. Under these conditions, you have an 18% probability of reeling in a Crimsonfish with each attempt.
