GSC Game World Releases Patch 1.0.3 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
GSC Game World continues to enhance the player experience in its recently launched survival adventure game, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Following the initial release, the studio wasted no time with updates. The first significant patch, Patch 1.01, debuted just a week post-launch, delivering over 650 fixes for players venturing into the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, available on both PC and Xbox platforms.
Shortly after, Patch 1.0.2 provided essential bug fixes, further refining the gameplay. Now, GSC Game World has announced Patch 1.0.3, which not only addresses critical issues but also adds substantial improvements. This update, weighing in at over 20GB, focuses on fixing crashes, mission blockers, AI quirks, and a significant issue that resulted in the loss of save files after a system reboot.

The latest patch eliminates the need for players to manually adjust. ini files to tackle mouse sensitivity problems and persistent smoothing effects. Both input acceleration and smoothing settings are now disabled by default, while the default camera and aim sensitivity values have been fine-tuned for a more consistent and predictable gaming experience.
