How to Obtain the Unique Texan Shotgun in Stalker 2
The Texan shotgun is found within the Abandoned Science Campus, situated in Jupiter’s terrain. This site is located south of the Pripyat-1 Checkpoint POI and northeast of the Yaniv Station base. If you’ve previously ventured to the Market in Jupiter to secure the Rhino revolver, you’ll be pleased to know that both unique weapons are in close proximity, allowing for a fruitful exploration.
Upon entering the Abandoned Science Campus, you will encounter numerous bunkers, most of which are securely locked. However, one bunker is accessible and contains the coveted Texan shotgun. Keep your guard up, as a Pseudogiant lurks nearby and will attack when spotted.
Locating & Accessing the Bunker
The entrance you seek is located on the western side of the point of interest marker on the map. Continue along the road until you spot the open door leading into one of the bunkers.
Once inside, navigate through the winding corridors and take a left to access the laboratory area of the bunker.
Acquiring the Unique Texan Shotgun & Its Specifications
Upon reaching the laboratory, look to your right to find the Texan shotgun resting on a table accompanied by some ammunition. Be sure to collect the Texan alongside other valuable resources scattered throughout the bunker. After securing your find, take the time to explore the bunker for additional loot.
The Texan shotgun boasts a maximum damage output and a firing rate that rivals the Saiga D-12 shotgun, making it a formidable weapon in combat. Additionally, it excels in penetration power against heavily armored foes or enemies equipped with exoskeletons throughout Stalker 2.
