In the context of this survival horror game, scavenging for resources is vital. The Journalist Stashes are invaluable as they provide a variety of essential loot, including weapons and armor suits. Complete List of Journalist Stash Locations in STALKER 2
Note: The locations of the Journalist Stashes will be marked on your map once you initiate the “Seek and You Shall Find”side quest. This quest starts after completing “A Needle in a Haystack,”which occurs within the first 10 to 20 minutes of gameplay.
The stash locations are distributed across the game map, presenting a challenge when trying to collect them all. To facilitate this hunt, utilize the fast travel feature. My personal playthrough revealed that progressing through the main campaign while exploring various areas helps in uncovering the stashes nearby.
Below, I have organized the stash locations in order of ease, from the most straightforward to the more complex in terms of retrieval.
Zalissya (Lesser Zone)

Your journey begins here. Locate a blue truck parked adjacent to a wooden house. Leap onto the truck’s hood to access the rooftop, then drop into an opening on the front side of the house where the stash resides.

Proceed northeast from Zalissya. You’ll find a factory; climb its ladder to access the rooftop, then navigate two levels down to locate the stash.

Inside the Sphere facility, which is part of the main storyline, locate a green gate labeled “I.P.S.F.”Enter the compound, find a building with a ladder, climb it, and the stash will be directly accessible.

Reach the Chemical Plant and locate a truck outside. Climb onto the truck and enter through a window. Head left to the room with a damaged wall where the stash awaits in the corner.

Navigate to the railyard coordinates and locate a train carriage blocked by concrete slabs. Shooting the lock on the carriage door will reveal the stash on your left.

Find the final stash located within a specific building. Proceed straight ahead until you encounter a dead end; turn left into a room with bunk beds, navigate through two anomalies, and loot the stash.

This location can be particularly challenging. As you search for the stash, beware of a flash anomaly that can temporarily blind you and cause burn damage. Having healing items ready is recommended as you will encounter further anomalies. Navigate down a ladder into a bunker, turning left at the bottom to find the stash, but watch out for a Fire Poltergeist that inflicts burn damage. After obtaining the loot, exit promptly as a Bloodsucker may appear.

Loosening up for this stash can be quite arduous. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
- Enter via the route shown in the accompanying image.
- In the arms depot room filled with weapons, watch for a Burer, a formidable mutant that can utilize weapons against you.
- Once dispatched, locate the generator in the left corner and activate it.
- Ascend to the control room via the staircase and press the red button to unlock the metal door leading to the Journalist Stash.
- Along with the stash, find the SA-U Gabon Assault Rifle and the SEVA-1 Suit in a nearby locker.

Entering Swamp is better dealt with later in the game. Here, climb onto a red tractor, jump to a nearby wooden shed, and break the wooden barrier to access the stash.
