Square Enix Seeks Player Feedback on Final Fantasy Series
In an initiative to better understand player preferences and experiences, Square Enix has taken to social media to solicit feedback related to the renowned Final Fantasy series. The company has launched a survey that will remain open until January 9, 2025. Participants must be aged 16 or older to contribute their insights. Interested gamers can visit the official site to participate in the survey, which comprises 22 questions aimed at gathering comprehensive player data.
Survey Structure: Demographics and Gaming Habits
The survey begins with standard demographic inquiries, including the gaming platforms utilized by participants. Respondents are asked about their gaming habits, specifically how many titles they purchased in 2024, not limited to the Final Fantasy franchise. Additionally, Square Enix is keen to learn how players receive news and what kind of content they would like to see on social media.
Diving Deeper: Specific Titles and Preferences
Moving beyond general questions, the survey delves into specific titles within the Final Fantasy universe. Participants are prompted to indicate their engagement with games such as War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, alongside whether they are actively playing these titles. The survey further explores involvement with mainline entries and spin-offs from the series, allowing respondents to specify which games they have played from a selection spanning from the original to the sixteenth installment.
Among the notable titles mentioned are Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Dissidia Final Fantasy, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, World of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy Type-0, and Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon. Participants are also asked to identify the first Final Fantasy game they played and the factors that influenced their choice. Subsequently, there’s a focus on determining which Final Fantasy title the respondent enjoyed the most.
Understanding Player Awareness and Engagement
The survey further assesses player awareness regarding the Final Fantasy Portal site, inquiring if respondents have purchased any related merchandise. Additionally, it seeks to uncover the social aspects of gaming by asking who players engage with while enjoying these titles. The survey culminates with another set of demographic questions and an open invitation for participants to express their thoughts about the Final Fantasy series.
