Hazelight Studios Unveils System Requirements for Split Fiction
Hazelight Studios is on the brink of releasing Split Fiction, its highly anticipated split-screen cooperative adventure game. PC gamers can now check the official system requirements to see if their setups are up to the task. Notably, players will be pleased to learn that the PC version will operate fully natively, eliminating the need for the EA App when launched via Steam.
“We have worked tirelessly to ensure the game will be optimised on launch, completing hours and hours of performance and compatibility testing with the goal of making sure that the game will run as smoothly as possible, even on PC’s configured at the games listed minimum system requirements, ”says Hazelight Studios.

The PC edition promises to cater to gamers with ultra-wide resolutions (21:9 and 32:9), and for those eager to play on portable devices, the game has already received Steam Deck verification.
Console Performance Insights
Additional insights were disclosed regarding console performance. The game is set to run at 60FPS on both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, utilizing a dynamic 4K resolution. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series S will operate at 1080p. Importantly, cross-play functionality will be available across all platforms, including those using the complimentary Friend Pass.
