In his conversation on the Rich Roll Podcast on October 18, Holland expressed that the draft scripts they have reviewed thus far brought them immense satisfaction. He and Zendaya are thrilled about the new directions their characters will explore.

Fallon initiated the conversation by inquiring:

“There is some chatter that Spider-Man 4 is happening and that you’ll be back as Spider-Man.”

To which Holland replied with a smile, shaking his head and asking:

“What do you wanna know?”

When Fallon sought confirmation about the new movie during the show, Holland affirmed:

It’s happening!

He further revealed that filming is set to commence next summer, indicating that “everything’s good to go”and they are “nearly there.”Holland conveyed his enthusiasm, expressing that he can’t wait to start production.

On October 18, 2024, during his episode on the Rich Roll Podcast, Holland answered questions about Marvel’s ongoing interest in including him in Spider-Man 4. He enthusiastically confirmed his intention to return, not just for one film but for multiple Spider-Man projects in the future.

Holland talked about the ongoing developments, disclosing that a script is currently in progress. He mentioned that he and Zendaya have been engaged in reading various scripts and are excited about the outlook, even in their draft form. He shared:

“We have a creative pitch and a draft that is excellent. I read it three weeks ago, and it truly ignited a passion in me. Zendaya and I sat down together, and at times, we were bouncing around the living room, feeling like this is a real film deserving of the fans’ respect. There are a few details to iron out before we can fully launch, but it’s thrilling, and I’m really excited about it.”

With Spider-Man 4, Tom Holland is set to become the first actor to star in four standalone Spider-Man films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
