Featured Art Exhibition: My Hero Academia

The art exhibition will take place at the Creative Museum Tokyo from June 21 to August 31, 2025. With the final season expected to launch in Fall 2025, which usually kicks off in October, this event may unveil new insights or details regarding the series either at its opening or closing.
To commemorate the event, new artwork personally crafted by Kohei Horikoshi has been revealed:

In his message accompanying the exhibition, Horikoshi expressed:
I started serializing My Hero Academia about ten years ago. During the serialization, I switched to digital drawing, but my line art is still hand-drawn. So I think I can show you the original artworks to some extent. In addition, the name [original storyboard drafts] and the final storyboards are different in many cases, so I hope that by looking at the name as well, you can all understand what a manga artist may be thinking while drawing the series, and what it feels like to create a manga story. I hope that even those who do not like HeroAca can enjoy this exhibition. Please come and see it! – Kohei Horikoshi
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to explore original manuscripts and sketches created by Horikoshi, along with storyboards and exclusive anime videos produced by Studio Bones. Additionally, special merchandise will be available for purchase, further enhancing the experience.

In addition to the exciting announcements surrounding the exhibition, a unique video was released on Shonen Jump’s YouTube channel. This video features a “voice comic”adaptation of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Chapter 0, the introductory chapter included as a bonus in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Volume 4.
This chapter illustrates a classroom lesson taught by Eraser Head and All Might, where they introduce students to the concept of a Vigilante – individuals who utilize their Quirks illegally to assist others in situations where conventional Heroes are unable to act.
For those eager to enjoy the series, My Hero Academia is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll, offering both subbed and dubbed options. It may also be accessible on Netflix and other platforms in specific regions.
