New Game Titles Coming to Apple Arcade in October
Apple has unveiled exciting updates to its subscription gaming service, Apple Arcade, with the introduction of four fresh titles for the upcoming month. The standout offering is undoubtedly NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition, which promises to enhance the gaming experience for fans across all Apple devices.
Highlights of NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition
NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition is set to launch on October 16. This new iteration brings a host of features, including stunning graphical upgrades and extensive gameplay enhancements. Players can look forward to the new ‘NBA Eras’ in The Association mode, allowing them to build their own teams and revisit legendary moments in basketball history. Additionally, the game will showcase updated player rosters that accurately reflect recent trades and team dynamics.
“In MyCAREER, we’ve even made it easier for you to make your MyPLAYER just like the pros, using the player templates to craft builds just like Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, or your new cover athlete, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, ” said Visual Concepts’ general manager, Rebecca Chan, in a statement.

In addition to the much-anticipated NBA title, Apple Arcade will also kick off the month with three other engaging games scheduled for release on October 2:
- Thomas & Friends: Let’s Roll+ by StoryToys
- Dominoes: Classic Tile Game+ by MobilityWare
- Piffle+ by Mighty Games and Hipster Whale

Thomas & Friends: Let’s Roll+
This game is tailored for young children aged two to six, providing an interactive environment where they can operate train engines across the renowned Island of Sodor. Kids will have the opportunity to construct their own tracks, enhance them with various scenic features, and select diverse train engines for their adventures.
Dominoes: Classic Tile Game+
A modern twist on the timeless strategy game, this version allows players to enjoy various game modes on their iPhone and iPad, challenge AI opponents with unique playstyles, and climb the leaderboards to achieve recognition.
Piffle+
In this vibrant puzzle game, players aim to defeat a villain by using Piffle balls to break blocks. Piffle+ offers hundreds of challenges, encouraging players to strategize with collectible items and power-ups to maximize their performance.
Upcoming Updates
Additionally, Apple Arcade is set to enhance the TMNT Splintered Fate experience with the introduction of a new playable character, Metalhead, available starting September 30.
