Exciting New Features in Warhammer 40, 000: Space Marine 2
Last week, Saber Interactive unveiled a series of noteworthy updates heading to Warhammer 40, 000: Space Marine 2, and they’ve wasted no time rolling out these enhancements. The recently launched 6.0 Datavault update introduces a host of new features, gameplay adjustments, and additional content that are set to elevate the gaming experience for players across the board.
Introducing the Datavault
Among the standout additions is the newly introduced Datavault, accessible from the Battle Barge. This special area allows players to tackle minor objectives within their missions, earning a new currency that unlocks a range of cosmetic rewards unique to the Datavault.

Introducing the Biovore
For those who prefer PvE experiences, the update introduces the Biovore. Characterized as a “mobile living-artillery creature, ”the Biovore poses a formidable challenge by launching lethal spore mines at adversaries while remaining a significant melee threat to Space Marines in close-quarters combat.
Technical Enhancements and Gameplay Modes
A major addition for PC players is the long-awaited FOV (Field of View) slider, enhancing gameplay visuals, particularly for those utilizing ultra-wide monitors. Consoles have also seen improvements, with a new cross-play toggle available in the network settings, allowing players to exclude matches against PC users in PvP.
