Chapter 7 Notes Location Guide

Previously, Chapter 5 offered 11 notes, while Chapter 6 presented 10. Now, Chapter 7 raises the bar with 15 notes, and it promises even more in upcoming chapters. Below, you will find a comprehensive guide detailing where to locate each note in this chapter.

The Lost Boy

At the beginning of the chapter, proceed along the designated path until you hear Hazel mentioning the old sawmill, just before you need to leap across a river. After completing the jump, take a left to discover a climbing route leading around a rock wall, where you’ll find a note resting on a box next to a Floof knot.

Lost Liquor

Following your first combat encounter, clear the area and turn to the right. You should spot a health filament behind some branches. The note you seek lies on some boxes just ahead of those branches, so don’t forget to grab the filament while you’re there!

Lieutenant Laurent

Upon reaching a memory object that features a clip of Hazel’s mother, shift your gaze to the right. You’ll find the note perched on an old dresser, located at the entrance of a path that leads to a jumpable box and another Floof knot.

The Babblin’ Boy

After your previous find, continue across the river and navigate to the left toward some branches that can be pushed aside. Behind these, you’ll spot the note sitting on a box next to a metal sheet.

Baby Faced Laurent

From the last note, retrace your steps and cross the river again using the echoes of a bridge. Once you maneuver past this echo bridge, take a left to find this subsequent note resting on a box near another metal sheet.

Burrower’s – Lil’ Drunkards

After your previous discovery, proceed along the path and leap over two prominent bramble vines. The note is nestled within a hollow dead tree that should be directly in front of you.

End of Prohibition

After defeating the combat encounter that culminates with you using Crouton to vanquish the Stigma, proceed beneath a large tree. This note is located to the right of the path, just underneath the tree’s canopy.

Boy out of Time

This note is found shortly after the previous one. Walk past the tree, and a building will appear on your right. The note can be found positioned on a structure on the porch of that building.

Heart of Lace

Following the cutscene involving Laurent at the Juke Joint, return to the shop and ascend the staircase. The note can be found on a box next to a picture of Laurent and Lacey.

Treatment

Once you arrive in Milltown after utilizing the grapple, proceed directly down the path. You’ll find this note on a table within a house to your right, along with a Floof knot.

In the same house where the previous note was located, check the bedframe positioned at the back to discover this poignant note.

Everything Helps

Upon entering Milltown, a dilapidated well will be visible to your left. Proceed past the well and look to your right to find a partially collapsed building. Enter this building to uncover this note on a box just before an upcoming combat encounter.

A Father’s Job

After clearing the adjoining combat arena and witnessing Laurent’s initial memory, you’ll find this note in a building located to the right of a large crane, next to two enormous saws forming an ‘X’.

A Penny Saved

This note is accessible on the second floor of the sawmill, which you reach after locating all four of Laurent’s memories. Navigate through the upstairs area, use your grapple to cross a substantial gap, and once inside, look to your left. Move some wood out of the way to discover this note resting atop a table.

Maintaining Productivity

The final note of Chapter 7 is positioned in the office just beyond where you discovered the previous note. There’s also a Floof knot located within this office, right next to the note on a desk.
