South Korean Entertainment Company Invites Contestants for ‘Boys II Planet’ Talent Show

CJ ENM, a prominent entertainment firm in South Korea, is currently on the lookout for aspiring contestants to participate in their upcoming musical competition, titled Boys II Planet.

In collaboration with Mnet, this competition is set to premiere in the latter half of 2025, with the goal of assembling two distinctive global K-pop boy bands, focusing on both Chinese and Korean versions.

Selected candidates will participate in two segmented shows: Boys II Planet K, which will be produced in Korean, and Boys II Planet C, produced in Chinese, as reported by Soompi.

Contestant Eligibility and Application Process

Prospective contestants must be male and born before January 1, 2012. During the application process, candidates can choose between the Korean or Chinese program. Importantly, there are no restrictions regarding nationality, but participants must be capable of international travel.

Auditions for the Chinese version are scheduled to take place in February and March in various cities, including Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai, Singapore, Selangor, and Taipei. For the Korean version, auditions will be held specifically on February 28 in Singapore.

Applicants are required to showcase their talents in dance, rap, or vocals, with the opportunity to be featured prominently on the main show if selected.

It is important to note that the application deadline is set for March 2 for the Chinese version and March 23 for the Korean version. Additionally, participants who have already applied for the pre-audition phase called “Planet B”will not need to submit a new application, as stated by Korea JoongAng Daily.
