Jin’s “I’ll Be There”: A Vibrant Sugar-Pop Anthem Celebrating His Return Alongside MAX

This new genre signifies a shift from Jin’s prior solo projects, such as “The Astronaut”and “Epiphany.”Fans have responded with enthusiasm, embracing this fresh sound from the five-time Grammy-nominated artist.

The song’s Korean lyrics highlight Jin’s commitment to his fans with affirmations such as,

“I swear that I will always sing for you, sing for you/ I’ll be there for you.”

The bridge resonates deeply, as Jin reassures his fans, singing (in Korean) that he will always stand by them during tough times:

“When you feel down, when you feel all alone, when you need someone to lean on, I’ll be there for you.”

While “The Astronaut”is a heartfelt tribute to his fans, whom he refers to as his “universe,” “I’ll Be There”deepens that connection, reaffirming his loyalty. In an exclusive statement to Vogue, shared on October 25, 2024, Jin expressed his excitement about the release of his new single:

“I’m excited to be back and I hope my fans love this song as much as I do.”

The accompanying music video features Jin performing with his band in an outdoor busking setting, showcasing the BTS star in a new light. His outfit exudes a rockstar vibe, consisting of an oversized t-shirt layered with a flannel shirt and a denim jacket, completed with loose-fitting jeans. The energetic genre of the song complements the visuals perfectly.

MAX, whose full name is Maxwell George Schneider, is a prominent American singer and actor. He rose to fame with his 2016 hit, “Lights Down Low,”featuring gnash. MAX has previously collaborated with BTS on several projects, further solidifying his relationship with the group.

His track “Blueberry Eyes”features BTS’ SUGA, and he contributed to SUGA’s mixtape, “D-2,”with the song “Burn It.”Additionally, in 2022, MAX co-wrote the song “Yet To Come”with BTS.

On October 14, Jin announced the release of his debut solo album, “Happy,”which is scheduled for November 15, 2024, at 2 PM KST. The album will feature six tracks, with Jin actively involved in writing, composing, and creating four of them.
