Following an intense cliffhanger, the much-anticipated sixth episode of Solo Leveling Season 2 has unveiled its plot, diving into Jinwoo’s next perilous mission within a treacherous dungeon. In Episode #5, Sung Jinwoo accepted a crucial role as a carrier for the Hunters Guild’s Strike Team B, tasked with monitoring the menacing A-Rank dungeon. This occurred just prior to his official recognition as the country’s tenth S-Rank Hunter. After aiding Strike Team B from the shadows to overcome a formidable group of high orcs, they find themselves ensnared by a barrier created by Kargalgan, the dungeon boss.
An Epic Battle Beckons: Sung Jinwoo vs. Kargalgan

According to Solo Leveling’s official website, Episode 6 will spotlight Sung Jinwoo’s mission to save Son Kihoon, the A-Rank Hunter leading Strike Team B, who is being cruelly tormented by Kargalgan. This powerful A-Rank adversary poses an even greater threat than previously assessed by the Hunter Association, prompting the Hunters Guild to withhold their most elite fighters from this battle. Therefore, despite initially being an observer, Jinwoo must unveil his true prowess to combat the high orcs commanded by Kargalgan.
The great orc sorcerer Kargalgan, who had been lying in wait for Jinwoo and his friends, toyed with Kihoon, a commander of the attack force Strike Team.
As the Hunters’ turn to despair, Jinwoo comes to the aid of the dying Kihoon. From Jinwoo’s own shadow, various soldiers covered in light rise up and confront the High Orc’s army.
This next confrontation is historic; it will be Jinwoo’s first encounter with a high-level mage-type monster—an entity that can even communicate in human language—while facing overwhelming odds. Thus, he must not only safeguard his identity but also employ sophisticated strategies to outmaneuver Kargalgan and protect the members of the Hunters Guild.
Cha Hae In Finally Witnesses Sung Jinwoo in Action
The Hunters Guild’s Vice Master Develops Curiosity About Jinwoo’s Identity

Sung Jinwoo has consciously masked his powers to avoid being labeled a false ranker while awaiting his retest from the association in three days, currently maintaining an E-rank status. However, Cha Hae In, recognized by Jinwoo as possessing a power level akin to Chairman Go Gunhee, has sensed a change in him and actively searched for Jinwoo alongside her mining team.
With the closing of Episode #5 showing Cha Hae In outside the dungeon entrance, questioning Jinwoo’s decision to enter with Strike Team B, the narrative is poised for an exciting development as she joins the fray to support her colleagues and uncover Jinwoo’s true intentions. As Jinwoo’s influence expands in the storyline, he is likely to encounter new challenges and potentially gather more allies as he continues his journey in the Solo Leveling anime.
