The highly anticipated season 26 of The Voice premiered on NBC on September 23, 2024. The debut episode introduced new judges, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé, joining returning coaches Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire.
The Blind Auditions Part 1 showcased contestants competing for a grand prize of $100,000 and an opportunity to record an album with Universal Music Group.
Among the standout contestants was ChrisDeo, a 16-year-old street performer from Queens, New York, who captivated the audience with her rendition of I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz. The judges were impressed by her song choice and vocal talent.
Snoop Dogg was the first to turn his chair during ChrisDeo’s performance, and she ultimately chose him as her mentor.
