“So Babygirl Coded” — Big Brother Viewers Respond to Cam’s Admission of Taking a Break During Veto Competition

Big Brother showcased its latest episode on Sunday, September 29, 2024. In this thrilling segment, the houseguests battled it out in the Head of Household (HoH) competition, which involved reconstructing a 30-piece tiny puzzle with the aid of tweezers.

Makensy distinguished herself from the rest by becoming the HoH for week 11. By the end of the episode, she nominated Kimo and Rubina for the impending elimination round. Prior to the televised episodes, the Live Feeds available on Paramount+ disclosed the outcomes of the Power of Veto (PoV) ceremony.

HoH Makensy triumphed in the PoV during a classic BB Comics Veto challenge. While other contestants put forth valiant efforts, disappointment arose for the HoH and her ally, Chelsie, due to Cam’s lackluster performance. Finishing last, Makensy and Chelsie speculated that Cam might be intentionally throwing competitions.

Subsequently, Makensy lost her temper when Cam confessed he needed to take a break mid-challenge due to back pain. As a result, she contemplated whether to nominate Cam and replace him with Rubina on the block. Big Brother fans quickly took to X to express their opinions about Cam’s admission and his performance in the Veto competition.

“Cam is so babygirl coded. How’re you going to take a 30 minute break in the middle of a comp? I get the disgust from MJ and Chelsie like get up and work!”a fan remarked.

“He took a break?? Cam’s entire time in the house has been one giant break!!”another fan commented.

“Put him up just for taking a break! Then the vote splits and MJ saves him. Teach him a lesson to cut the crap and do something,”a netizen tweeted.

Many Big Brother aficionados criticized Cam for his consistent underperformance in competitions, arguing that taking a break during a timed challenge was simply unacceptable.

“WTF, Cam? LMFAO AGAIN? Hearing that he took a break during it? No! lol WHY?”a user reacted.

“Why would Cam take a break? My man, how do you mess an easy route to the final 3 like this?”another person commented.

“CAM HAS YET LOST ANOTHER COMP WHICH THIS WAS THE ONLY ONE HE MIGHT’VE HAD THE BEST SHOT AT,”another fan chimed in.

Conversely, certain Big Brother viewers believed that Cam should have avoided revealing his vulnerabilities to Makensy and Chelsie so close to the Veto ceremony.

“Cam is too honest because baby why would you tell these paranoid humans that you took a goddamn rest in the middle of the comp? That’s crazy!!”a user tweeted.

“Cam is so not self-aware that he admits to everyone he took a break during a timed PoV comp going into final 4. No one should ever be THAT comfortable in the BB house. I would look at Cam sideways too,”another commenter reacted.

Big Brother star Cam claims he would never intentionally lose a competition

The Live Feeds showcased a discussion between Chelsie and Makensy, wherein they expressed their concerns about Cam’s performance in the Big Brother house. Following the Veto competition, they became convinced that Cam had purposely lost due to hidden agendas.

Makensy and Chelsie theorized that Cam was aiming to eliminate one of them by ingratiating himself with Rubina, thus securing his place in the final three to potentially win the show. They felt that Cam’s advancement in the competition was solely due to their assistance.

Discontent with Cam’s performance, HoH Makensy and Chelsie questioned how a 25-year-old Division 1 athlete could falter in what they deemed to be an “easy”challenge. They confronted Cam, challenging his game strategy. Visibly irritated, Cam responded:

“Do you think I’m just f**king like whoopty-doo? I like losing? When in my life have I ever wanted to lose anything?”

When Makensy suggested that sometimes Big Brother contestants strategically throw competitions, Cam retorted that he was not “that type of person.”He insisted that he would not have survived so long “by losing intentionally,”asserting that he was fully cognizant of his losses.

Chelsie further explained that Rubina might backdoor either her or Makensy if she gained power in the upcoming week. Although Cam claimed he would prioritize their safety, he needed to win a competition to hold that power. Ultimately, Cam accepted that he understood the necessity of competitions and vowed to elevate his game.

Big Brother airs on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on CBS.
