In a landmark celebration, SM Entertainment is gearing up for its 30th anniversary concert, SMTOWN Live 2025, set to take place on January 11-12, 2025, at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome. This grand event will feature an impressive assembly of artists spanning from the first to fifth generation of K-pop, all uniting to honor the label’s remarkable legacy in the music industry.

A Tribute to Fans: Exclusive Remake Projects
To express gratitude to its devoted fans, colloquially known as Pink Bloods, SM Entertainment has orchestrated several special initiatives. One of the highlights includes various remakes of classic tracks performed by their artists during the two-day concert. These performances will also be compiled into an official commemorative album, adding a unique twist to the celebration.

The label announced through a press release that they are working on a special album featuring reimagined versions of iconic SM songs. Senior and junior artists are set to reinterpret beloved tracks, providing fans with fresh takes on these classics.
RIIZE Takes the Lead with a Hit Cover
In a preview of the upcoming album, rookie group RIIZE recently released their own rendition of the classic R&B hit, “Hug,” originally performed by TVXQ in 2004. Infusing the song with modern flair, the members showcased their smooth a cappella harmonies, enchanting both TVXQ fans, known as Cassies, and their own fanbase, BRIIZEs.
