This year marks a significant milestone as SM Entertainment commemorates its 30th anniversary. To honor this occasion, the agency is hosting an exclusive event combining their impressive lineup of artists performing selected renowned tracks.

On January 7, the label ignited excitement among fans by unveiling a series of captivating teasers. These hints suggested an innovative format for the event, including a “Ladder Game”concept that intertwined the names of various SM artists. This imagery hints at potential collaborations where labelmates will recreate each other’s iconic hits.

Celebrating with a Special Anniversary Album

Adding to the festivities, SM Entertainment has announced the forthcoming release of a unique 30th-anniversary album, featuring reimagined versions of their most loved songs. According to the agency, this album will allow both senior and junior artists to reinterpret these classics in fresh and exciting ways.

“This special album will feature remakes of SM’s representative hit songs, reinterpreted by senior and junior artists in each team’s unique style,”the agency stated. “It will give fans the chance to experience SM’s beloved songs—moments of joy, sorrow, nostalgia, and dreams—in a whole new way.”

Star-Studded Lineup and Performances

The concert is poised to feature an impressive roster of talent, including RIIZE, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, Super Junior, aespa, BoA, and WayV. However, it is important to note that Taeyeon and Wendy from Red Velvet recently announced their absence from the event.
