Whether or not you were an admirer of the original Skate trilogy, it is evident that the new version of the game introduces several notable changes.
One of the most striking differences is its failure to authentically capture the essence of skate culture. Additionally, many of the subtle yet sophisticated mechanics that defined the original series have been removed. Most importantly, players will find that the game mandates an online connection, which I personally believe is a misstep.
This always-online requirement can lead to various complications, particularly alienating players who prefer a more solitary experience. Even more frustrating is the emergence of griefing tactics adopted by some players.
Individuals are now occupying popular locations around San Van, implementing their own quick drop ramps and items in disruptive ways, which obstructs others from enjoying their favorite skate spots.
Fortunately, there is a solution for players looking to eliminate these nuisances and permanently remove unwanted quick drops.
How to Eliminate Other Players’ Ramps
The process to accomplish this is quite straightforward, although it may not be immediately apparent where to find this option.
Begin by pressing the left directional button on your D-Pad to access the social menu.
Next, navigate to your social and Spectate settings.
At the top of this menu, you will find an option labeled ‘Quick Drop Visibility’. To regain control, switch this setting from ‘everyone’ to ‘Only Me, ’ or ‘Co-op’ if you often play with friends.
By making this change, you’ll be able to view and interact solely with your own Quick Drops.
It is also wise to adjust your Quick Drop Editing settings to prevent unwanted modifications from other players.
Keep in mind that this setting resets to its default state each time you log in. Therefore, if this situation bothers you, consider resetting it at the start of every gaming session to ensure a more enjoyable experience.
