ARC Raiders, the upcoming sci-fi PvPvE extraction shooter first revealed during The Game Awards in December 2021, is inching closer to its release. The developer, Embark Studios—known for the free-to-play FPS The Finals—has announced that a closed tech test for the game will take place this week, specifically from October 24 to 27.
If you’re eager to participate in this tech test, you can sign up through the ARC Raiders Steam page. Embark has indicated that there will be a limited number of participants for this testing phase and that more players will be invited throughout the four days.
Additionally, players who are selected for the tech test will have the opportunity to invite two additional friends after completing four rounds of gameplay.
Selected testers will be required to accept a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), which prohibits them from discussing or publishing any details about the tech test. This includes restrictions on taking screenshots, recording gameplay, or streaming content. Embark stated:
This test isn’t meant as a promotional effort for the public. We wish to unveil ARC Raiders once the game is fully polished and finalized, and we need your cooperation to maintain the intrigue and excitement while we continue development.
