At Jump Festa 2025, Bandai Namco announced the exciting addition of Shinji Hirako, a key character from the Bleach universe, as a playable fighter in the upcoming game Bleach Rebirth of Souls. While the reveal was largely cinematic, it featured tantalizing gameplay snippets showcasing Shinji’s various appearances throughout the story, transitioning through different pivotal moments. Additionally, the trailer hinted at the presence of fellow Visored member, Hiyori Sarugaki.

The trailer commences with Shinji introducing himself, while flashbacks subtly unveil his complex history with the notorious Sousuke Aizen. In these clips, we observe Shinji in his dual identities as both a Soul Reaper and a Visored, culminating in a significant encounter with Ichigo Kurosaki, wherein he offers to act as Ichigo’s mentor. Notably, Hiyori makes her appearance around the one-minute-and-twenty-second mark of the trailer.
