Prior to her appearance on the show, Stewart shared a post on his official Instagram on September 25, 2024, detailing recent developments in his mother’s life. The post highlighted Bette’s role as a “24/7 caregiver”for her husband, who was diagnosed with dementia. Following his passing in January, Bette filmed her segment for The Voice UK in February.
“She released 2 songs since and we just finished filming her Christmas music video. She’s an inspiration,”said the post’s caption.
As soon as Bette stepped onto the stage, the live audience erupted in applause, grooving to the infectious beat of her song, which piqued the curiosity of the coaches about her identity. Behind the scenes, her son danced along to the rhythm. Singer-songwriter Will.i.am couldn’t hide his joy.
