Big Brother Season 26 is currently in week 10 and is nearing its finale. Out of the sixteen original contestants, only seven remain: Chelsie Baham, Kimo Apaka, Angela Murray, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Makensy Manbeck, Leah Peters, and Rubina Bernabe.
At the start of the week, houseguests learned they would be facing a double eviction. Angela and Leah were nominated for eviction, as Kimo was saved by the Power of Veto (POV). Angela found herself in a difficult position, being on the block with Leah, whom she views as a daughter. She shared her emotional struggle in a confessional session, highlighting the hardship of campaigning against Leah:
“I am sick to my stomach. This moment is nothing but sheer agony because campaigning against Leah will definitely be one of the hardest things that I have to do. Because Leah is like a daughter to me.”
Despite her heartache, Angela recognized that participating in Big Brother has been her dream, and she felt compelled to fight for her position, even if it meant going against someone she loves.
Big Brother Star Leah Regrets Targeting Rubina and Kimo’s Alliance
Ainsley, an AI houseguest, returned and initiated the double eviction for Big Brother Season 26 in week 10. Makensy won the Head of Household (HOH) competition for the first round and nominated Kimo, Angela, and Leah for eviction. As the week’s HOH, she also secured the Power of Veto and chose to save Kimo from the block, leaving Leah and Angela, her allies, at risk of eviction.
Kimo, who had previously survived four consecutive weeks on the block, celebrated being saved once more:
“I can not believe that I have survived the block again! Five times is more than enough and I swear to all that is Big Brother that there will not be a sixth.”
While Kimo reveled in his good fortune, Leah rushed to the living room in distress. Angela followed her to provide reassurance, telling Leah that she had nothing to fear and that Angela would likely be the one leaving instead. However, Leah was not convinced and feared her own eviction.
Leah reflected on her decisions made during her previous week as HOH, expressing regret over her targeting of Kimo instead of siding with her original plan. She confided in Angela, saying she was hurt by Makensy’s decision to save Kimo:
“I feel like such a moron. I should have done… what I planned to do last week. I should have taken them out. And I’ve had Makensy’s back since day one. I’ve never lied to her one time. I should have just trusted my gut last week. I f**ked so bad and I knew it.”
During week 9, Leah had been the HOH and won the Jankie’s POV, resulting in nominations for Kimo and Rubina. After Kimo’s save, she opted to replace him with her ally T’kor, ultimately leading to T’kor’s elimination.
In the latest episode, Leah admitted that her focus on Kimo, Rubina, and T’kor was a mistake, wishing she had targeted Makensy, Chelsie, and Cam instead. She shared her thoughts with Angela:
“I should not have gone after that trio last week. I should have 100% gone after these jokers… that lie about everything, every single week. Bunch of scared little kids to make their own moves.”
Big Brother Season 26 airs on CBS every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
