“She Performed Exceptionally” – Dancing with the Stars’ Sasha Farber Commends Partner Jenn Tran Following Elimination

The seventh episode of Dancing with the Stars season 33, called Halloween Nightmares, premiered on October 29, 2024. During this episode, the remaining seven couples showcased their dancing skills while embracing the essence of Halloween within their performances. Ultimately, the evening concluded with the elimination of Sasha and Jenn Tran from the competition.

In a special interview with Access Hollywood shared on their official YouTube channel on the same day, Sasha expressed his admiration for Jenn. He referred to her as an “incredible human”and commended her performances throughout the season, emphasizing the hard work she put in and how it led her to win the dance-off. Sasha elaborated:

“I’m incredibly proud of her. We dedicated ourselves fully to this week’s routines. We pushed through without hesitation. She performed exceptionally well, claiming victory in the dance-off, and I couldn’t be prouder.”

Both Jenn and Sasha engaged in a discussion about their deep connection as Dancing with the Stars partners.

Reflection on Their Elimination by Sasha and Jenn

During the interview, Sasha revealed that he and Jenn’s decision to join the show was somewhat unexpected. Jenn added her thoughts, describing their partnership as “fate,”and noted that it felt as if she had known Sasha for a long time. Sasha highlighted Jenn’s journey, encouraging viewers to also take on challenges that intimidate them:

“Initially, I wasn’t planning to participate this season, and she wasn’t either. I had agreed to perform with the troop, which would have been a significant commitment. Then, at the last moment, I received a call to partner with this amazing individual, and the journey unfolded from there. Now, entering week seven, she has demonstrated that facing your fears and dancing is something everyone should attempt.”

The Bachelorette alum reflected on their newfound friendship, expressing how fortunate she felt to have Sasha as her dance partner. Jenn commented:

“From the get-go, we established a special connection, like I had known him forever. We instantly clicked. I’m so fortunate to have him by my side.”

Jenn took a moment to look back at her journey, celebrating her growth and experiences on the show. She expressed pride in her progress as a dancer, sharing her struggles with stage fright and her willingness to step outside her comfort zone. Jenn reflected:

“We performed a contemporary piece. Growing up watching the show, contemporary dance has always been a favorite of mine due to its emotional depth and lack of rigid rules. I was thrilled that we could execute it beautifully. We went out on a high note.”
