“She has a great gluteus maximus” – EC3 comments on if Rhea Ripley should regularly use the Stinkface (Exclusive)
Despite it being WrestleMania season, Rhea Ripley’s viral moment was not due to her wrestling skills, but rather for her Stinkface move. EC3 commented on the WWE live event, stating that while it was a good move for special occasions, it shouldn’t be done every night.
A recent WWE event leading up to WrestleMania showcased a one-on-one match between Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax. Despite predictions that the champion would emerge victorious, she surprised the audience by executing a Stinkface on Jax, paying tribute to Rikishi. This move sparked both praise and criticism, with Vince Russo stating that it went against Ripley’s character and caused confusion amongst himself and the viewers.
Despite praising her physique, Carter believed that the move should only be used on special occasions. The former WWE star also took the time to commend Ripley for her dedication and hard work in the gym, sending her some well-deserved compliments, as seen below:
“I mean, in the grand scheme of things, does that move result in victory? Does that set up the opponent for the finish? It’s psychology. Is she [Rhea Ripley] working the right body parts? Is the face her target of her offense? Give her credit; she trains hard. She has a great gluteus maximus and gluteus medius. I think that seems like a special-occasion kind of thing, whereas you don’t want to, dare I say, blow your load and do it every night,”said EC3. [From 6:04 onwards]
EC3 Supports Rhea Ripley’s Fun-Loving Attitude at Live Events
Despite some fans enjoying it, Rhea Ripley’s Stinkface has not been positively received by all members of the wrestling community. While some appreciate it, others argue that it contradicts the principles of the women’s revolution.
EC3, a former WWE wrestler who had several runs with the company, noted the lenient atmosphere at live events and believed that performers were able to enjoy themselves more. Despite not anticipating the frequent use of the Stinkface move, Carter did not object to it being used at house shows, as it could potentially generate viral content, similar to what Ripley did, which could be a strategic decision.
“Hey, live events; you just have fun. Sometimes you let loose a little bit, [get a] viral clip in this day and age. I don’t think it’s going to stay [the Stinkface],”he added. [From 7:32 onwards]
Despite the potential consequences of a widely circulated clip, Rhea Ripley’s main concern now is her upcoming match. The Women’s World Champion is set to go head-to-head with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, and it is anticipated to be a highly anticipated showdown between two of WWE’s top female talents.
